Heith Ledger died today. He was only 28.

I've never seen "Brokeback Mountain". I don't think I ever will - I just don't care seeing a movie about gay cowboys...

I don't know anything about his personal life, particularly, why he had broken up with Naomi Watts a few years ago, who was his current girlfriend or, as a matter of fact, whether he had one...

But as I'm watching Larry King Live with people talking about Heith Ledger who died today at the age of 28, I want to scream. Because it is a Universal Injustice when a true Talent goes like this. Goes so unfairly soon, way before his time.

There are many actors and actresses in Hollywood. More than there will ever be the need for. There are many famous actors and actresses. Some of them are famous exclusively for going to places, not because they have done something significant in the cinema. But there are so few Talents with the capital "T". Heith was a Talent, a god-given one. You don't have to be freakin' Gene Shalit to understand this.

Why him? If only we knew...
